Bad breath, or halitosis is a strong noticeable odor emanating from the mouth. There are primarily two types of foul breath. One that occurs when the bacteria grow on food particles that are left behind in your mouth, under your tongue and in between your teeth. These bacteria release sulfur compounds that make your breath foul smelling. The other type is when you have eaten foods that give off pungent oils and odors such as garlic, onion and cabbage.

Traditionally, these nutrient rich foods are part of a staple diet from the Mediterranean countries of Greece, and Italy.

It’s the middle of the night… you’re still tossing and turning…without a wink of sleep. Uncomfortable with all the rumbling noises in your stomach…you get up and head for the kitchen or the refrigerator to find some chow. Do these images of insomnia sound familiar?
