Dimple Is there a table like this one for the Indians, as to how much of what and from which group we have to eat everyday. It will be really helpful.

Parul Bhatnagar Hi Dimple,
This table is a basic guideline for all of us who consume 2000 calories per day.Appropriate adjustments can be made as per our requirements. But always try to include large amount of fresh veggies and fruits everyday to remain healthy.

Poonam Dear Dimple,
This table is an example of how much of each food group should be consumed by a person consuming 2000 calories. Although it is a guideline developed in the US, it can be used by anyone because it reflects a healthy balanced diet. Proportionate adjustments will need to be made if intake is more or less than 2000 calories and also if a person is a vegetarian.
In India, we have Recommended Daily Allowances for all vital nutrients.
