EXERCISE  FOR ELDERS
Exercise  is one of the therapeutic and lifestyle interventions for healthier life at any  age. It is very important for all age groups especially older adults because with  age inactivity increases. It has been observed that 30% of those aged 65 and above  do not report any kind of exercise routine.
Barriers  to adopt apt exercise routine at older age include lack of knowledge, motivation  and environmental factors.
  - Exercise  regime helps improving your mobility, strength, improve sleep and gain power to  fight against diseases like hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular problems.  Exercise intervention trials for arthritis of the knee have shown significant  reduction in disability using resistance training that focus in increasing  muscle strength and modest aerobic exercise.
 
  - Exercise  also has calming effect on our minds. It is a stress relieving activity that  decreases the feeling of depression and improves sense of personal control.
